Garvan Woodland Gardens has six beautiful outdoor spaces for weddings, ranging in capacity from 20 to 100. And, we also have four lovely outdoor spaces for elopements (with no more 8 people total).
Any of these are an ideal option for couples who want an informal outdoor ceremony at one of the iconic locations in the Gardens, such as the Bridge of the Full Moon, pictured above.

Perry Point/Wildflower Overlook
Perry Point is a gorgeous vista at the western most point of the Gardens, overlooking Lake Hamilton. Flagstone provides for a lovely paved area, surrounded by natural foliage. With a bit of walk from the main entrance, it is nearly ½ a mile to Perry Point. However, a golf cart with space for 5 people is included in the rental. The maximum capacity is 40 at Perry Point. Chairs & tables are included, but only a small reception with cake and punch is allowed. Perry Point rents for $2,000 for 4 hours. For more details and photos, go here.
Koi Pond
The Koi Pond area is one of the most beautiful outdoor spaces at Garvan Gardens for a wedding ceremony. The maximum capacity is 20. Blankets are allowed on the hillside lawn for wedding guest seating, but no chairs are allowed. This one-hour rental is $1,000 Sunday – Saturday. For more details and photos, go here.
Dooley Pergola
Located not far from the Pratt Welcome Center, the Dooley Pergola provides for a lovely Garden space. The capacity is 20 with chairs included in this one-hour rental. $1,000 Sunday – Saturday. To see photos, go here.
Southern Inspiration Garden The Southern Inspiration Garden is a gorgeous and affordable outdoor space in the Gardens. This one-hour rental is $1,000 Sunday through Saturday with a maximum capacity of 20. Chairs are included. To see photos, go here.
Celebration Garden
The Celebration Garden is a gorgeous outdoor space adjacent to the Millsap Bride’s Hall. A two-level, round grass terrace provides for wedding guest seating — all surrounded by magnificent foliage and landscaping. A beautiful waterfall flows through the Celebration Garden, providing a lovely, peaceful soundscape to your ceremony. The capacity for the Celebration Garden is 40. Chairs are included in the rental. The Celebration Garden rents for $1,500 for one hour and is only available Monday – Thursday.
Celebration Garden/Bride’s Hall package: A Celebration Garden ceremony and a Bride’s Hall 8-hour rental is $2,750. This package provides a nice space to get ready for the garden ceremony and a wonderful reception location following. Maximum capacity for both is 48, and it is only available Monday through Thursday. Chairs are included for this ceremony, as well as tables and chairs for the reception. The Garvan Pavilion
The Pavilion is the largest outdoor space in the Gardens for a ceremony. Designed by the architecture firm of E. Fay Jones and Maurice Jennings in the tradition of Fay Jones’ mentor – Frank Lloyd Wright – the open-air, covered pavilion has a maximum capacity of 100. Expansive flagstone paving surrounds the terrace area of the Pavilion. Rental is 8 hours for $3,000. Wedding guests receive free entry into the Gardens for the day of the wedding.
